Colenbrander and Mansveld design till 1928 for the Ram. Till 1925 emamel paint, closed within black lines of decoration, heavy expressionistic design. After 1924 expansion of the simple tile and decorative & hollow-ware items production, like cups & saucers.

In 1931 Lion Cachet's used for his decoration designs of dinnerware wax-technics which originates from Batik-Art. Hij engraved bird figures and stylized floral motifs and abstract patterns. The ceramics are thin & hard. Also commemorative/occasional pottery, like Dutch Royal items & drip and spray glazes. Founded for the decorative art designs of the aged decorative art designer Th. Colenbrander executed by technician Mansveld.

With a high salary per hour Colenbrander recruited the best painters of other pottery factories. In the beginning of the crisis, late 1920s cooperation with Arnhem Faience Factory, the pottery biscuit baking process was executed by this factory, so there are Arnhem models with Ram-mark/backstamp.

Colenbrander designed about 60 models and seven hundred decors for the Ram. The selling was not so great, this handmade art work was too expensive, at an auction this Ram pottery was called a collection of Artis’ Zoo Parrots Colours.
