Russel Tiglia, this pottery factory made religious figures/sculptures and small figures in a tile-shape, multi colour tiles & Tiglia's well known Folk Art pottery & unica/sinlge pieces. Mark/backstamp: little pot R T., see picture.

Cobra-ceramics designed by Karel Appel, Constant, Corneille en Rooskens in 1948/49,  employees who called this ceramics department “the circus”. The artists made “ceramic experiments”, they painted vases, plates and bowls who were produced by Tiglia, made some self moulded/shaped items. In 1948, more abstract motifs/decoration on dishes and vases by Russel Tiglia and in 1949 the typical fantasy animals on plates. Karel Appel painted a couple of plates in 1953 and made terra cotta figures, variations on the human head, partial black/white and partial un coloured.
