Amphora, Tegel- en Fayencefabriek

Big names of designers & painters were working at the Tegel & Fayencefabriek / Tile & Faience Factory Amphora, made top level pure decorative and hollow-ware pottery & ceramics. Can be mixed up with other famous Amphora pottery factory from Bohemia.Mark/backstamp: Amphora Holland.

Hollow-ware/kitchenware & art pottery, tiles & tile-sceneries. Because of bankruptcy Haga, plenty of trained personnel and contracted artist Chris van der Hoef, his hard line shapes & decors are characteristic of Amphora. In the beginning they produced next to poured white clay pottery objects (related to Rozenburg & de Distel) also ceramics made of brown baking partial inlaid clay.
